Sport Changes Life

When Sport Changes Life approached us about a charity golf event that they were planning, the timing couldn’t have been better. 

In the last number of months we had been introduced to the foundation and the fantastic work that they do with young people. Where possible we try to support the charities that we work with beyond simply selling donation equipment and in this case the stars really aligned… Not only was the event close to our head office but we also had some nice prototype products that required a bit of field testing.

The fundraising event was being held at the prestigious Malone Golf Club and was attended by a selection of friends and supporters of the foundation. It was the perfect blend of friendly competition on the course, enjoying each other’s company off the course, and more importantly – supporting the charity’s mission as they strive to raise aspirations through sport.

On the day of the event we provided GivingStands located at strategic points such as entrances, exits and public spaces. And later in the evening we got to field test the new Payaz Go device which was used for general donations and as a method to take payment at the charity auction.

To say that the event was a success would be an understatement! Whilst we cannot report the amount raised it would be fair to say that it was a significant amount and definitely evidence of just how contactless donation equipment can be implemented to really make a difference.
